Transaction Description

Assurant underwrites and administers the extended warranties on electronics and appliances for some of the major retailers throughout Canada.

Agents will be handling inbound Extended Warranty Customer Service calls for clients such as: Future Shop, , , HBC, CIBC, National Bank, and Cantrex.

Agents will assist customers determine if their unit is covered by the extended warranty and arrange for diagnosis and service in accordance with their service contract.

Agent Position

Team: *Open to past DE EST Home Agents.

The Team (EST) Administrator is an advocate for the Customer responsible for resolving escalated customer issues in an effort to retain the customer relationship & loyalty.

The ES Team supports the highest escalated Home Services customer concerns/complaints.

You will be supporting an Executive of Direct Energy, on their behalf.

Transaction Description

•Respond to incoming customer complaints being transferred from the call centres or directly from customers.

•Make decisions on complaint resolution either independently or in collaboration with Direct Energy business unit leaders.

•Ensure complaints are resolved and closed within a pre-defined timeframe.

•Liaise with Senior Management, where appropriate, in Customer issue resolution and approvals.

•Escalate issues that require intervention and / or present the potential for damage to the Direct Energy Essential Home Services brand or corporate image.

•Investigate, determine & communicate resolutions to Customer issues using a variety of systems and resources as required.
