Here Is A Typical Email I Get About This Work At Home Business Opportunity With My Answers
Here is an example of an email that I usually get asking about ContracXchange.
I have deleted or obscured any personal information of the person who sent me this for their privacy.
I have changed and edited some the email response to the person who sent me the original email; I have added information that was relevant to their questions. (Corrected a few spelling errors as well.)
I wanted to share these questions and the answers to those questions that I get on a regular basis with you.
I hope the answers will help you.

Q. Hi Terry my name is XXXXX and I live in XXXXX, XXXXXX and I’m looking to work from home.
I reviewed your video today and I’m interested in moving forward in this process.
I’m a little afraid of what I will need to get my computer working to do this I have some questions if you don’t mind to answer so I can see if I can do this from home?
A. Most of our clients use a DVD to access their servers, so nothing touches your hard drives.
If the client runs programs on the Windows Platform there is a tech call where one of our tech support agents will meet with you on line by appointment and install the software you need to work online and test it.
This also applies to the DVD. (The tech support people are contract agents as well; I was a tech support agent for several years.)
You do not need a new computer to use this system.
My computer is over 4 years old.
It’s a Dell Dimension 4700, which I am sure you could pickup anywhere for less than $300.00 these days.
If you have a computer less than 3 years old there should be very little that needs to be added to be able to use it.
I had one Gig of memory when I started this work and it was not adequate for the workload.
I now have over 4G of memory which really works well. The network requirements for this network are on the free membership site you can join.
The only other thing that is really critical is a fast internet speed. I use Roger’s Extreme and have had no problems with their service. I can’t wait till they offer more speed options.
Q. Do I need Voip?
A. If you live out side of the GTA calling area, yes you do. I personally use Primus, and like the Rogers Home Phone service as well. I have also used Vonage and their service is good as well, I have used all three and they are usually are all reliable services. Why do you need Voip service?
Our servers need a local number to call you without having to call long distance.
The area codes that our servers work with well is 416 or 647 area code, so you have to request one of those specific area codes when you order your Voip service. We have people who work from all provinces of Canada and in selected states in the USA.
We also have a client in the UK who has contracts with agents who live in the UK, so Voip Service is necessary.
I live in the Toronto area and do not need to use a Voip service.
But I choose to because I find it to be cost effective telephone service and have had good service from all of the providers I have used.
There should be no services attached to that phone, I treat mine as a work number only and do not normally use it to call out or receive calls.
Q. You can service more than 1 client at a time?
A. Yes you can have as many clients as you want. I have 3 right now, I have had as many as 8 at one time.
Q. I have X years experience in a call centre environment and have been a supervisor for XXXXXXX for X years and I just want to know if this a business that I could make money and not worry about being a scam?
A. Once you see the list of clients who use our network you will know that these companies are solid corporate citizens and the contracts you can get from them are valid.
I personally have been working on this network for over the last 4 years and have been working and training at home full-time for over three years.
To make a full time income you should have more than one client.
If you only have one contract, do not assume that it will provide you a full time income.
I have made very good money with my clients, but call volumes can fluctuate because of customer demand and the season.
Here is what I tell everyone who is interested in this,
“DO NOT SPEND ANYTHING ON THIS UNTIL YOU HAVE RECIEVED AND INVITATION TO TRAIN FROM A CLIENT.”
Then you will not be disappointed if it takes a long time to get a position.
Find out what you need, what it costs, and how long does it take to get it.
Get yourself ready and have a game plan.
Just like any company who you may apply to for a job, the company will only offer new contract positions when there is a need for more agents, so there is no timetable to when a particular client will be looking for more contract agents.
I have been pleasantly surprised at some of my offers that I got when I did not expect one at the time.
The first time I was invited to train for CAA, I turned it down because I had too many clients and could not take the time away from my other clients to train.
I always suggest to the people I sponsor to apply for contracts on the waiting list that is where I have gotten most of my contracts from. It is very important that you do this.
After you have applied to all the contracts that you are interested in, and are qualified for, you will not have to always keep looking at your membership site to see if any new job postings are there, because you have already applied to the contracts and if the client wants to offer you an invitation to train you will simply be notified by email.
Thank you

Select my name (Terry Russell) in the “How did you hear about us” drop down after you have entered your password on the membership registration page.
This needs to be done so the registration will work properly and this will allow me to be your Community Sponsor.
As your Community Sponsor, you will be able to contact me directly for help with your contact job search. I have had as many as eight contracts on this network at one time. I know all the tips, tricks, and techniques to get a work at home contract.
Now is a good time to get started!
The fall is our best time of year for new clients and existing clients to expand the number of work at home agents on their networks.
I had a meeting with my supervisor at ContractXchange today and there will definitely be opportunities available this fall, especially for Bilingual Agents.
If you don’t get your Free Membership, Apply for the Contracts, or Get Yourself Ready to accept a contract I can guarantee you will NOT get a contract!
So take some action if you really want to work at home!
I can help you, but you have to make the effort to get what you want.
Good Luck and All The Best!
